‘Only Murders In The Building’ Has Been Renewed For A 5th Season

Buy Me A Coffee

Just two weeks into solving the latest who-done-it on Only Murders in the Building, Hulu has officially renewed the show for a fifth season! Yes, that’s right—this series has more lives than a cat with a gym membership.

For those keeping track (or just snooping from a distance), Hulu has been serving up fresh doses of mystery every Tuesday like it’s taco night at your favorite diner. We’re only two episodes into season four, and already the bodies are piling up like holiday shopping lists. The burning question? Who killed Sazz, played by the ever-hilarious Jane Lynch? Spoiler alert: It wasn’t the butler. (Was there even a butler? Who knows—there are so many characters at this point it’s like the Avengers moved into the building.)

Speaking of characters, season four is basically a celebrity convention. Meryl Streep is here, obviously aiming to win an Oscar for “Best Performance in a Streaming Murder Mystery.” Eugene Levy, the king of all things awkward, is lurking around. Zach Galifianakis might be delivering cryptic one-liners, or just being Zach. And we’ve got Eva Longoria, Richard Kind, Melissa McCarthy, Kumail Nanjiani, and Molly Shannon, probably having a secret competition to see who can out-quirk the rest. It’s like they stuffed a clown car full of Hollywood icons and rolled it right into the plot.

If you haven’t caught up yet, don’t worry—Only Murders in the Building is like that cool friend who shows up late to the party but still brings all the snacks. You can binge all three previous seasons on Hulu and dive into the first two episodes of season four, where things are getting murderously good. Warning: May cause an uncontrollable urge to wear tweed and solve mysteries in your spare time.

Season five is coming, so keep your detective hats on—because in this building, the murders just keep on giving!
