Hold onto your helmets! Nina Dobrev has taken her daredevil tendencies to a whole new level, and let’s just say, it didn’t end with a victory lap. On the illustrious date of May 20, our favorite Vampire Diaries star, aged 35 and still riding high (literally), took to Instagram to share her latest escapade – which promptly landed her in the hospital.
Picture this: Nina, looking all cool and adventurous, astride a motorbike. Flash forward to the next scene: Nina, not so cool but still adventurous, in a hospital bed, rocking an IV, a neck brace, and a knee brace. Talk about a plot twist!
“How it started vs how it’s going 🤕” Nina captioned her dramatic two-photo post. The first snap shows her confidently posing on her trusty (or not-so-trusty) motorbike. The second snap, however, shows her lying in a hospital bed, looking like she’s auditioning for a new role in a medical drama.
Nina, never one to miss a social media moment, also shared a Story featuring a selfie with the world’s saddest frown and a bedhead to match. “I’m ok but it’s going to be a long road of recovery ahead,” she wrote, probably while thinking of all the future roles she could play with those neck and knee braces.
Naturally, her celebrity squad was quick to jump in with their well-wishes (and some cheeky comments). Julianne Hough chimed in with, “That’s my girl! 🫠 Obviously wouldn’t make jokes if you were not ok…” proving that best friends are there to laugh with you, not at you. Meanwhile, Ashley Greene added her two cents with, “Always going big… 😉 heal fast ❤️” because if you’re going to crash, you might as well crash in style, right?
