Nicola Peltz, multi-talented dynamo, is chuckling at the keyboard warriors on social media who insist she’s just lounging around eating popcorn all day.
The 29-year-old whirlwind not only graced us with her presence in the latest cinematic wonder, “Lola,” but she also pulled off a hat trick by writing, directing, and producing it. She basically wore more hats than a royal wedding guest!
“I can’t help but giggle at the comments on my Instagram,” she confessed to Byrdie, probably sipping on a cup of tea and rolling her eyes. “People are all like, ‘What does she even do?’ Well, excuse me, while I’m not documenting every single second of my ‘Lola’ journey, I’ve been slaving away at it for six freakin’ years. That’s like a whole era in dog years, you know?”
Despite the trolls lurking in the digital shadows, Nicola finds solace in her tribe – her family.
“My dear old family is the wind beneath my wings, seriously,” she gushed, likely envisioning a group hug with her clan. “I’m tighter with them than a jar of pickles, especially with Brooklyn’s bunch. Having that solid support system is like having a secret cheat code in life. It’s like, ‘Booyah, trolls, you can’t touch me with my family fortress!’ Ah, what a blessing, truly. And trust me, I’m not taking it for granted, not even for a second.”
