Mindy Kaling, everyone’s favorite funny lady, dropped a bombshell on her birthday: she secretly gave birth to baby number three back in February. Talk about burying the lead, Mindy!
The 45-year-old actress and writer casually announced, “Oh, by the way, in late February, I gave birth to my daughter, Anne. NBD.” Anne, who apparently is a fan of grand entrances, decided to be the best birthday present Mindy could ever imagine. Move over, surprise parties and expensive jewelry, there’s a new sheriff in town!
“When things are hard, and I’m on the verge of turning into a full-time cynic, my three kids remind me that life can still be a sitcom full of pure joy,” Mindy shared. “I’m beyond lucky to live in a place where I can pull off being a single mom on my own timeline. Also, thanks for all the birthday wishes, but let’s be real, Anne kind of stole my thunder this year.”
Anne joins the sibling squad with 6-year-old big sister Katherine and 3-year-old big brother Spencer, who are probably already plotting ways to train their new recruit in the art of adorable mischief.
