Meghan Trainor is keeping it real! The “All About That Bass” singer just confirmed that, yes, she did get a little pharmaceutical assistance in her journey to feeling fabulous—because why struggle when science exists?
Over the weekend, the 31-year-old hitmaker was honored at the 2025 Billboard Women in Music event (because, duh, she’s a legend). But instead of talking about her music, people apparently decided it was “Meghan’s Body: The Press Conference” instead.
Meghan took to Instagram to drop some truth bombs:
“Feeling so honored to be recognized by @billboard Women in Music as a Hitmaker—what a dream! But it’s a little disheartening that so many of the questions (and comments) were focused on my body instead of my music, my passion, or the decade of hard work that got me here,” she wrote. Translation: Can we not make my body the main character for once?
Then she hit us with the ultimate mic drop:
“No, I don’t look like I did 10 years ago (because who does?!). I’ve been on a journey to be the healthiest, strongest version of myself for my kids and for me. I worked with a dietitian, made major lifestyle changes, started working out with a trainer, AND—shoutout to modern medicine—I got some extra help from Mounjaro after my second pregnancy. And honestly? No regrets, because I feel amazing.”
Basically, Meghan said: Mind your business, I feel great, and also, can we please talk about my music now?!
Now, can we all agree that women in the industry deserve to be recognized for their talent instead of turning every event into an unsolicited wellness check? Thanks.
