Madonna is out here reminding the world that age is just a number, and that number is, “Watch me steal the show, yet again.” At a fabulous 66 years young, the queen of “Like a Virgin” (and basically everything else) took her throne—uh, seat—at the Dolce & Gabbana Spring/Summer 2025 runway show in Milan, Italy. Because where else would Madonna be, right?
Picture this: Madonna front row, dressed like a gothic goddess who also might secretly run a royal coven. She rocked a black high-slit dress, draped over a black corset (because corsets aren’t just for the 1800s), paired with a Chantilly lace veil so long it probably got its own invite. Oh, and she was casually sporting a necklace that could finance a small country: a mix of yellow and white gold, diamonds, and—wait for it—skulls carved out of some rare stone, because apparently, “extra” is Madonna’s middle name. And why not top it all off with a gold and crystal crown? Because when you’re Madonna, you don’t just wear jewelry, you wear relics.
But wait, there’s more! Just when you thought this fashion extravaganza couldn’t get any wilder, the guest list was star-studded enough to make a disco ball jealous. Naomi Campbell? Check. Michele Morrone of “A Simple Favor 2”? Sure, why not? And of course, Victoria De Angelis, Måneskin’s bassist, because apparently even rockstars need a day off to admire couture.
Then, on the runway: Irina Shayk and Vittoria Ceretti came out rocking blonde wigs straight out of Madonna’s 1980s closet—because nothing says “fashion icon” like models cosplaying as you, decades later.
And after the models were done strutting their stuff, the real show began: Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana themselves emerged, probably chanting “We are not worthy!” in Italian. Hugs, kisses, and who knows what kind of fashion secret handshakes ensued.
Moral of the story? Madonna is still ruling the world, one haute couture front row at a time, and we’re all just lucky to witness it.
