Zayn, now a 32-year-old solo heartthrob and the owner of at least 27 perfect high notes, is currently blessing the United States with his angelic vocals. On Wednesday (Jan. 25), during his second of three shows at the Shrine Exposition Hall in Los Angeles, he casually dropped a bombshell:
“Tonight’s something special. An old friend of mine is here for me tonight.”
Cue the crowd’s immediate emotional meltdown. Was it Harry? Liam? Niall? No—it was Louis Tomlinson! The audience erupted into a level of excitement usually reserved for lottery winners and free tacos.
And while Zayn didn’t specify where exactly Louis was lurking in the venue, the internet detectives wasted no time. Within minutes, photos of Louis surfaced, proving that yes, he was indeed there, and no, this was not a collective fever dream.
For those keeping track, this marks Zayn’s first-ever official solo tour, which is kind of shocking considering the man has been churning out bangers since the One Direction split. But hey, good things take time, and apparently, so do mini 1D reunions.
