Lorde is going on tour, and she’s ready to take us to Ultrasound levels of euphoria. The queen of quirky pop (and questionable haircuts) is hitting the road in support of her new album Virgin—yep, you read that right. Lorde, the same person who brought us “Royals,” is back, and she’s about to make us question our life choices once again.

The Ultrasound World Tour will blast its way through North America, Europe, and the UK. And if you thought that meant a quiet, introspective night at the theater… think again! You’ll be jammin’ out in cities from Austin to Stockholm, with some pretty stellar opening acts like Blood Orange, The Japanese House, Nilüfer Yanya, Chanel Beads (Yes, beads, get excited), Empress Of, Jim-E Stack, and Oklou. This is the musical equivalent of a gourmet meal, and every ingredient is A+.

But wait, there’s more! Lorde sent us a newsletter (yes, actual written words in 2025) to let us know what’s up. Here’s what she had to say:

“I’m going on tour with my new album Virgin,” she wrote—like, duh, we knew that already, but okay. “Every show I play is a collaboration between you and me. It’s like a high school chemistry project, but instead of mixing vinegar and baking soda, we make music. We’re talking about 12 years of creating sound that’s just for us. This time, I’ve stripped away all the unnecessary layers—kind of like peeling back the layers of an onion, but instead of crying, you’ll be having an emotional epiphany. I think this tour will be a masterpiece.”

She went on to say: “Also, I’m bringing my talented friends with me. You should probably come to see this because it’s going to be legit. Tickets go on sale May 16th, pre-sale May 14th. Don’t be the person who misses out on this masterpiece—come see what’s under the skin.” (Yes, Lorde, we will gladly come see what’s under your metaphorical skin.)

So, you want tickets? Well, let’s be real—you’re gonna have to hustle. Head to Ticketmaster.com like it’s your job. If you’re already too late (we know you’re procrastinating), resale sites like StubHub and VividSeats will be your backup plan. Don’t cry about it. Just get the tickets.

Here’s where she’ll be performing, in case you want to cancel your plans for the rest of the year (you probably should):
