Lana Del Rey and Quavo just dropped a collaboration hotter than a jalapeño in a heatwave on Wednesday (July 3).
Their latest musical magic is wrapped up in a video directed by none other than Wyatt Spain Winfrey. According to the hype machine, it’s a “mesmerizing fusion” that lets these two megastars explore each other’s musical backyards like never before, showing off their unstoppable awesomeness.
Picture this: Quavo and Lana, wandering through a countryside straight out of a Western flick. Quavo’s armed with a shotgun that says, “Don’t mess with me,” while Lana’s wielding a guitar, strumming away like a musical gunslinger. Together, they’re the embodiment of “unwavering strength despite their contrasting origins,” or as we like to call it, the musical odd couple of the century.
Lana belts out some killer lyrics: “Tough like the scuff on a pair of old leather boots/Like the blue-collar, red-dirt attitude/Like a .38 made out of brass/Tough like the stuff on your grandpa’s glass.” Basically, she’s saying they’re tougher than a two-dollar steak and twice as legendary.
And if you thought that was wild, the teaser reel for their song blew up on Instagram. It became the most viewed reel ever for Quavo, and the second biggest for Lana. So, yeah, the internet pretty much lost its mind.
Get ready, because this duo is taking the music world by storm, one cowboy boot at a time!
