Lady Gaga is out here living her best life and making sure her fans get a piece of it too!
The 38-year-old “Queen of Extra” was spotted in New York City this week, doing what she does best—serving looks and spreading Gaga love. On Tuesday (March 11), she took time to snap pics with fans and sign autographs like the true pop goddess she is. And because Gaga never does anything in moderation, she was seen rocking the same jacket and a “Mayhem” baseball cap the day before, proving once again that she can wear anything twice and still make it fashion.
But let’s get to the juicy part. In a new interview, Gaga opened up about how she realized her fiancé, Michael Polansky, was the real deal and not just another dude trying to get free front-row seats to her concerts.
“From the moment I met Michael, he had the warmest and kindest energy—like, imagine a golden retriever who just discovered he can also cook you dinner,” she told The New York Times. “Yes, he was impressive, but what mattered most? He actually wanted to know about my family.”
Let that sink in. A man who listens? A man who cares about something other than flexing on Instagram? Unheard of!
“I guess what I’m trying to say is, I knew Michael was different because he wanted to be my friend first,” she continued. “He didn’t want to do all the Hollywood nonsense. He just wanted to take walks with me—WALKS—like some kind of rom-com dream sequence. He even took me rock climbing! And I have a pain condition, but he looked at me like, ‘Nah, you got this,’ and somehow, I started to believe it too.”
If that isn’t the most heartwarming thing you’ve heard today, then I don’t know what is. Oh, and in case you missed it, Gaga is also set to make an appearance in Wednesday Season 2 after her song went viral from the first season. So basically, she’s out here winning in love and in her villain era. Iconic.
