Two years after saying “I do,” Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are finally shacking up together! Can you believe it? Took them long enough!
In Thursday’s episode of “The Kardashians,” Kourtney spilled the beans on how their Brady Bunch-style family merger finally came about—and why it was slower than a snail on tranquilizers! Turns out, they weren’t in any rush to start playing house. Their kids’ happiness came first, plus living so close meant they could practically wave at each other from their backyards. Kourtney explained:
“Travis and I have been taking our sweet time figuring out where we should live together because the kids are super comfy in their own spaces.”
By the way, all this drama unfolded while they were on baby watch for their new son, Rocky Thirteen. His imminent arrival gave them the nudge they needed to make a decision. Kourt dished:
“It feels like we kind of figured out a plan for now. We’re moving into his house, which is just a hop, skip, and a drum solo away. Meanwhile, we’ll remodel my house so we can eventually all live together under one roof with the baby.”
This housing extravaganza includes her trio with Scott Disick: Mason, 14, Penelope, 11, and Reign, 9. Travis is bringing his rockstar brood: Landon, 20, Alabama, 18, and his stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya, 24. That’s a whole lot of kiddos to cram into one house! We’re talking enough to form a small army—or at least a decent-sized rock band. Even the baby has his own digs!
While showing off Travis’ place (decked out in Halloween gear, of course) to her mom Kris Jenner, Kourt pointed out Rocky’s future room, complete with a drum set. She quipped:
“He’s going to get used to some drums.”
Ha! No pressure, kiddo, but we’re all expecting you to keep the beat.
They’ve finally melded their lives—assuming they’ve actually unpacked those moving boxes. For all we know, these grand plans might still be in the Pinterest phase. But with the baby here, it’s safe to bet they’ve made the leap by now. Fingers crossed it’s all going smoothly! Maybe we’ll get a front-row seat next season…
