Princess Catherine, better known as Kate Middleton, has made her grand return to the limelight!
In the midst of her ongoing battle with cancer, the 42-year-old Princess of Wales decided to make a dazzling comeback at the 2024 Trooping the Colour. This annual shindig, celebrating King Charles’ official birthday, went down on a festive Saturday (June 15) in the bustling heart of London, England.
Kate made quite the entrance, rocking a chic white and black ensemble as she cruised around town in a horse-drawn carriage. Accompanying her on this regal joyride were her trio of mini-royals: Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6. The royal family tour included a pitstop at Buckingham Palace, where they graced the balcony like the true VIPs they are.
Kate’s dashing hubby, Prince William, was also in attendance, alongside the birthday boy himself, King Charles, who’s still going strong at 75. Queen Camilla and Princess Anne were also part of the royal entourage, adding their own sparkle to the event.
Just a day before this royal extravaganza, Kate confirmed she’d be stepping back into the public eye, marking her first appearance since Christmas Day 2023. This also follows her brave announcement of her cancer diagnosis in March, showing the world she’s not just a princess, but a warrior too.
Oh, and in case you were wondering, Kate’s fabulous outfit was designed by none other than Jenny Packham. Because if you’re going to make a comeback, you might as well do it in style!
