Kate Cassidy Gets Emotional While Unpacking Boxes of Liam Payne Memories, Finds Worn-Out Heels and Sentimental Tears

Buy Me A Coffee

Kate Cassidy is going through boxes and emotions—lots of emotions—while reminiscing about her late boyfriend, Liam Payne.

The 25-year-old, who shared her life with the beloved singer before his passing in October 2024, took to TikTok for a bit of nostalgia (and maybe a little packing procrastination).

“I don’t even know how to start this video,” she begins, immediately proving that figuring out intros is the hardest part of content creation. “I’ve had these boxes sitting in my basement for, like, three or four months now, just absolutely dreading opening them.”

Ah, yes. The age-old battle between sentimentality and storage space.

She finally musters the courage to crack open the boxes, revealing a bright yellow dress that instantly unlocks a core memory—like a Pixar movie, but in real life.

“This dress was at the top of the box, and honestly, it brings me so much peace and comfort,” she shares, as if it’s some kind of magical artifact. “Liam and I had the BEST time when I wore this dress. It was my very first wedding, and oh my god, we just danced the night away.”

Then, as if the dress wasn’t enough, she pulls out a pair of Christian Louboutin heels—battle-scarred and well-worn, standing as a testament to a night of absolute chaos on the dance floor.

“These were practically new before that wedding,” Kate admits, showing off the heels, which now look like they survived a mosh pit rather than a classy reception. “The next morning, I woke up, looked at Liam, and was like, ‘OH MY GOD, look at these shoes. They’re ruined. What do I even do with them?!’”

Spoiler alert: She didn’t throw them out.

Now, those heels serve as a time capsule of joy, love, and questionable dance moves.

Kate’s full TikTok video features her reliving these precious memories, and if that wasn’t emotional enough, there’s even footage of her and Liam tearing up the dance floor together.

So, grab some tissues—and maybe your own favorite pair of “ruined” shoes—as Kate takes us on this bittersweet trip down memory lane.
