Justin Timberlake finally spilled the beans about his “tough week” during his first concert since his unexpected run-in with the law.
The 43-year-old “Mirrors” crooner strutted back onto the stage for the latest stop on his Forget Tomorrow World Tour, rocking the United Center in Chicago, Illinois, on Friday night (June 21).
Earlier that week, our boy Justin decided to spice things up and got himself arrested for DWI after a wild night out in the Hamptons, New York. There was a bit of a hullabaloo about whether this little hiccup would derail the tour, but it turns out, the show must go on!
Addressing the elephant in the room (or rather, the arena), Justin had a heart-to-heart with his fans during Friday’s performance.
“We’ve been through the rollercoaster of life together, twists and turns, loop-de-loops, and yeah, it’s been a rough week,” Justin confessed. “But hey, you’re here, I’m here, and nothing can mess with this moment! I know I’m a handful sometimes, but you keep loving me, and I love you right back.”
And with that, the crowd roared, the music played on, and Justin Timberlake reminded us all why we just can’t stop the feeling!
