Well, it looks like the Island Boys have officially shipwrecked—and not just because one of them landed in jail over the weekend. We has learned that these twin tornadoes of viral chaos have been on the outs for a while now, with Franky Venegas (a.k.a. the one currently collecting mugshots) and his brother Alex (a.k.a. FlyySoulja) calling it quits as a duo a long time ago.
According to FlyySoulja, the two haven’t been on the same wavelength for ages—which is impressive, considering they once shared the same DNA and a house in Florida. But alas, Franky packed his bags and floated away from their shared tropical paradise more than a year ago. Flyy says their relationship became more about heated arguments than harmonized auto-tune, and he just wasn’t feeling his brother’s lifestyle choices anymore.
Meanwhile, Flyy has been out here trying to live his best “wholesome family man” life. He put a ring on it this Valentine’s Day, proposing to his baby mama—with whom he shares a son—and he also has a 4-year-old daughter from a previous relationship. Basically, he’s swapping face tattoos for dad duties, which is a plot twist nobody saw coming.
Despite all the drama, Flyy swears he’ll always have his brother’s back—even though their love language seems to be arguing and ignoring each other’s phone calls. He even helped Franky pay for lawyer fees in the past, only to be hit with a classic “you’ve never done anything for me” response, which, honestly, sounds like it came straight from a toxic ex’s playbook.
At this point, the brothers are barely in communication. Since Franky’s arrest in Naples over the weekend, he’s been trying to call Flyy—but Flyy’s been hitting that “missed call” button like it owes him money.
ICYMI, Franky got busted on Sunday for possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and rocking a firearm with an altered serial number (which, shocker, is *not* a good look).
And to think, back in 2021, these two were inseparable—dropping their now-infamous track “I’m An Island Boy” and even posting videos of themselves kissing each other on the lips.
