Hoda Kotb just dropped a fabulous update on her mini-me, and let’s just say, it’s all sunshine and rainbows!
Last year, our favorite morning show queen found herself in a bit of a pickle when her daughter, Hope, had a health scare that landed her in the ICU. Yikes! Talk about a plot twist we didn’t see coming! But fear not, because Hoda recently declared she’s trading her early morning coffee for some quality family time. That’s right, she’s swapping out her news anchor chair for a comfy couch and some serious snuggle sessions with the kiddos!
In her chat with People, Hoda exclaimed, “Hope is thriving like a sunflower in a garden of daisies! She’s improving every day, and we’re watching her like hawks with a coffee IV drip—because, honestly, how else are we going to keep up?” She went on to assure us that they’ve got top-notch care, like a VIP pass to the medical world. “I have people who help us out—think of them as our superhero squad. It feels like Hope is finally finding her footing, and we’re doing the happy dance over here!”
Since the great hospital adventure, Hoda has kept us on a need-to-know basis about Hope’s health—just the occasional “She’s doing better!” sprinkled with a dash of suspense.
And in case you forgot, Hoda officially adopted Hope back in April 2019, making her a proud mama of two—her eldest, Haley Joy, is two years older and probably showing Hope the ropes on how to be the coolest little sister in town!
So here’s to Hope, Hoda, and their wild ride of family life—may it be filled with laughter, love, and a little less time in the hospital! 🎉
