At the ripe old age of 24 (ancient in TikTok years), Halle has just finished filming her latest movie, where she probably dazzled everyone on set with her Ariel-like vocals and flawless hair flips. But now, she’s decided it’s time to take a break from the wild world of social media.
In a heartfelt post that she probably typed out with one hand while brushing her mermaid-length hair with the other, Halle dropped the bombshell on X (formerly known as Twitter, but now sounding like a top-secret spy agency). She wrote, “hey guys. i am going to go away for a few weeks, will be offline. ♥️ just need a break from everyone. will be back with new music in august. xo 💋✌🏽”
Translation: “BRB, humans. Time to recharge my creative batteries and avoid scrolling through 500 cat memes a day. But don’t worry, I’ll return in August to bless your ears with some fresh tunes. XOXO, Gossip Mermaid.”
Now, if you’re one of those die-hard fans who follows Halle’s every tweet, retweet, and Instagram story like it’s your full-time job, you might be feeling a bit lost right now. But fear not! While she’s off doing whatever mystical beings do during their internet hiatus, you can start the countdown to her next music release.
