Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s post-prison adventure sounds like an episode of “Sex and the Cellblock”! Our gal Gypsy had a little late-blooming self-discovery session behind bars at Missouri’s Chillicothe Correctional Center—a fancy name for a place where orange is the new black and finding oneself gets a spicy twist.
So, there she was, in the land of bars and stripes, reminiscing about her girl crushes from back in the day and thinking, “Hmm, do I like gals or guys?” Turns out, prison is the perfect place to answer that million-dollar question! Gypsy spilled the tea on Lifetime’s “Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up,” confessing that she dabbled in lady-love during her stay. Yup, she was more curious than a cat in a fish market and decided to pucker up with the ladies.
Gypsy dropped a truth bomb that’d make even the most stoic jaw drop: “I think I’ve kissed more girls than guys.” Move over, Katy Perry! Now that she’s out, she’s been doing the cha-cha with two dudes. First, she tied the knot with Ryan Anderson, the owner of what she famously dubbed “fire D.” Sadly, their love train derailed by April when divorce papers made an appearance. But Gypsy didn’t sit around sulking; she rebounded faster than a rubber ball with her ex-fiancé, Ken Urker. How do we know? Oh, just a casual steamy kissing selfie—classic 21st-century proof.
Now, imagine this: Gypsy in prison, dealing with a no-masturbation rule (yes, you read that right), which left her worrying about a low sex drive. Like, who comes up with these rules? Probably someone who missed the memo on human nature. Gypsy also opened up about being self-conscious about her body, but hey, age and wisdom work wonders, and she’s shedding those insecurities like a snake sheds its skin.
Gypsy’s post-prison love life has been a rollercoaster worthy of its own theme park. Despite all her experimenting with the ladies, it looks like boys still take the cake for her. Stay tuned, because with Gypsy Rose, every day is an adventure!
@pinknews Gypsy Rose Blanchard has opened up about her sexuality: ‘I’ve kissed more girls than I have guys’ The 32-year-old was released from prison in December 2023 after 8.5 years of a 10-year sentence for the second-degree murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, in 2015. The investigation into the case reported Blanchard was the victim of Munchausen by proxy syndrome, a mental health disorder that develops when an abusive caregiver deliberately induces illness or injury on someone in their care. As a way to escape this abusive treatment, Blanchard potted Dee Dee’s mother with then-boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn, who is serving a life sentence for first-degree murder. Since being released, Gypsy Rose Blanchard has certainly been no stranger to the limelight. She’s highly active on TikTok and recently shared her recipe for her prison energy drink, made with Jolly Ranchers, Kool-Aid (Hawaiian punch flavour), strawberry Fanta, and Folgers instant coffee. She’s also the subject of a Lifetime docuseries, through which she’s been sharing other insights into her life over the last few years. For example, during her time in jail, Blanchard revealed she had the opportunity to explore her sexuality. In the second episode of her Lifetime show, Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up, Blanchard shared: “A big part of womanhood is learning to become comfortable with their sexuality, and for years I wasn’t. “For a long time, I questioned my own sexuality because [when] I was a teenager or a pre-teen, I felt like I was attracted to girls, and I got to experiment with that in prison. “I think I’ve kissed more girls than I have guys,” she said with a chuckle. #lgbtq #gypsyrose #fyp #gypsyroseblanchard #usnews ♬ Immortal Beloved (Instrumental) – BLVKSHP
