Final List Of Performers At The MTV VMAs Revealed

Buy Me A Coffee

Get ready, because the 2024 MTV VMAs are creeping up on us faster than your monthly subscription bill! Yep, it’s almost time for the most glamorous chaos on live TV. This year, they’ll be broadcasting live from the UBS Arena, which sounds fancy, but let’s be honest, they’re probably just hoping nobody breaks a camera lens in the first 10 minutes.

The fun begins at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Wednesday, September 11—so set your clocks, because MTV has gone ahead and saved us from a night of watching cat videos on YouTube by pulling out all the stops with their FINAL round of performers! (Yes, they had rounds like it’s a UFC fight.)

But before we dive into that madness, MTV is, of course, keeping it classy in observance of the 23rd anniversary of 9/11. As always, they’re teaming up with 9/11 Day, a nonprofit that organizes the National Day of Service and Remembrance (which is basically the grown-up version of doing community service to impress your crush), and Tuesday’s Children, which supports families affected by the tragedy. Kudos to MTV for remembering that the show is more than just shiny outfits and awkward onstage moments!

Now, back to the VMAs, where the performers list is hotter than the inside of an oven on Thanksgiving Day. Drumroll, please…

Anitta, our queen of all things fierce, will be strutting her stuff on the VMAs stage for the THIRD year in a row! She’ll be hitting us with a medley of “Savage Funk” and “Alegria” (translation: time to dance like no one’s watching). Oh, and she’s not coming alone. Fat Joe, DJ Khaled, and Taigo PZK will be showing up to make sure you’re up off your couch and reconsidering all your life choices.

Karol G is back too. She’s ready to remind you why you should be listening to her songs on repeat. She’ll be giving us another powerhouse performance, because why should your ears have a night off?

And hold onto your backwards caps because LL Cool J is about to make his epic return to the VMAs after more than 25 years. That’s right, 25 YEARS. The last time he performed here, you probably still had to explain to people what “LOL” stood for. He’s back to make you feel all the nostalgia and prove that yes, he can still make the crowd go wild—because he’s LL COOL J!

But wait, there’s more. Shawn Mendes will also be gracing the stage for his first televised performance from his new album. If your heart wasn’t already fluttering, just wait until he hits those high notes. Prepare to swoon and then pretend like it didn’t happen.

So, buckle up! The 2024 MTV VMAs are about to serve more drama, dazzling performances, and outfit malfunctions than you can handle.
