Emma Roberts is hinting at another superhero gig, and it’s as juicy as a summer blockbuster’s popcorn tub!
The 33-year-old starlet, who first dipped her toes into the comic book universe by playing Peter Parker’s mom Mary in Madame Web earlier this year, is now teasing a possible return to the land of capes and spandex.
In a recent chat, Emma spilled the beans on whether she’d don a superhero costume again.
“I had an absolute blast just swooping in to play Peter Parker’s mom,” she dished to ComicBook. “And I adored the director. It was so much fun, I felt like a kid in a candy store! Playing comic book characters is a hoot, and I’d leap at the chance to play one who maybe gets a bit more action – like, can I get a cool catchphrase or a fancy gadget next time?”
Reflecting on her role in American Horror Story: Coven, Emma added, “I’d also love to play a witch again. There are some witchy comic book characters out there that I’d totally rock. Just imagine me with a broomstick and a spell book – pure magic!”
And speaking of witches and comic book capers, there’s a Marvel TV series brewing that’s got more witches than a Halloween convention – Agatha All Along! Looks like Emma’s superhero saga is just getting started. Pass the popcorn!
