Emma Roberts is hinting at another superhero gig, and it’s as juicy as a summer blockbuster’s popcorn tub!
The 33-year-old starlet, who first dipped her toes into the comic book universe by playing Peter Parkerβs mom Mary in Madame Web earlier this year, is now teasing a possible return to the land of capes and spandex.
In a recent chat, Emma spilled the beans on whether sheβd don a superhero costume again.
“I had an absolute blast just swooping in to play Peter Parkerβs mom,” she dished to ComicBook. “And I adored the director. It was so much fun, I felt like a kid in a candy store! Playing comic book characters is a hoot, and I’d leap at the chance to play one who maybe gets a bit more action β like, can I get a cool catchphrase or a fancy gadget next time?”
Reflecting on her role in American Horror Story: Coven, Emma added, βIβd also love to play a witch again. There are some witchy comic book characters out there that Iβd totally rock. Just imagine me with a broomstick and a spell book β pure magic!β
And speaking of witches and comic book capers, thereβs a Marvel TV series brewing thatβs got more witches than a Halloween convention β Agatha All Along! Looks like Emmaβs superhero saga is just getting started. Pass the popcorn!
