Donald Trump was asked about his son Donald Trump Jr.’s alleged affair with singer Aubrey O’Day.
If you don’t know, Aubrey O’Day, the former Danity Kane singer with more drama than a soap opera, was a contestant on Trump’s TV series The Celebrity Apprentice back in 2011. She claims she had a steamy affair with Trump Jr., who was married to his now ex-wife Vanessa Trump at the time. Ah, love triangles in reality TV – classic!
Author Ramin Setoodeh just dropped a new book, “Apprentice in Wonderland,” where he grilled Trump about these juicy rumors.
When Ramin asked Trump about the affair, Trump responded with all the enthusiasm of a man who just discovered his socks don’t match, “I had heard that, actually. No, I had heard that.”
Then Ramin turned up the heat, asking if Trump knew that Aubrey had written a song about the alleged fling. Trump’s reply was a masterclass in feigned ignorance, “I hadn’t heard the song. But I had heard that,” (via Variety).
Trump, staying on brand with his usual mix of casual dismissal and a hint of “I’m too busy for this nonsense.”
