Courteney Cox thinks her late *Friends* co-star Matthew Perry is still popping in for a chat from beyond the grave.
“Matthew was always such a laugh riot. And, yes, he had his struggles, but he had a heart the size of a sitcom budget,” Cox, 59, shared in an interview with CBS Sunday Morning on May 19, marking the 20th anniversary of the *Friends* finale. “I’m so lucky I got to work with him for all those years. And you know what? He still drops by—if you’re into that kind of thing.”
Perry, who played the king of sarcasm Chandler Bing, was the yin to Cox’s neat-freak yang, Monica Geller, for a glorious decade of TV magic.
Cox also dished about her spiritual side, revealing she’s a believer in getting guidance from the great beyond.
“I have regular chats with my mom, dad, and Matthew—basically, my celestial squad. I really feel like they help steer the ship,” Cox said. “Matthew’s presence is definitely around, cracking jokes and offering wisdom, no doubt.”
Alongside Cox and Perry, the *Friends* ensemble cast boasted Jennifer Aniston as Rachel, Lisa Kudrow as Phoebe, Matt LeBlanc as Joey Tribbiani, and David Schwimmer as Ross. Talk about an all-star spirit team!
