Chord Overstreet Announces His Return To Music And New Single Titled ‘To Break A Good Man’

Buy Me A Coffee

Chord Overstreet is officially coming out of music hibernation! That’s right, the 35-year-old ex-gleek and certified heartthrob announced his glorious return to the music scene via social media on Tuesday (October 22). And let’s just say, the internet is already swooning harder than Finn at regionals.

“Been A Minute… Or A Few Years”
Chord took to the interwebs with all the chill of someone who’s spent the last few years catching up on Netflix and perfecting their sourdough recipe. “Been some years since I released new music…,” he began. Understatement of the century, sir, but we forgive you.

The big news? His comeback single, called “To Break A Good Man,” (TBAGM, because acronyms are fancy), is set to drop on November 1st. Mark your calendars and prepare your earbuds, people, because emotions are about to get wrecked.

Linking to the release page like a modern-day tech wizard, he added:
“My first single back, ‘To Break A Good Man,’ drops 11/1. Don’t miss it: (https://laylo.com/chordoverstreet/c3rOX).”
(Yes, Chord, we clicked it. Twice. Just to be sure.)

But Wait, There’s More!
Oh, you thought Chord was done with the updates? Please. This man came with a bullet-point list. He’s clearly been reading productivity blogs during his downtime:

1. He’s hosting an AMA on Vault.fm – Because who doesn’t want to spend their Wednesday afternoon bombarding Chord with questions like, “What shampoo do you use?” and “Did you steal Finn’s letterman jacket?”
“I’ll be live at 1 PM EST / 10 AM PST,” he said. That’s a whole lunch break dedicated to Overstreet content, people. Worth every second.

2. He’s testing new ideas – Translation: we may get even more surprises soon, including possibly more music and definitely more sneak peeks.
(Psst, he already stashed a TBAGM snippet in his Vault. Yes, we’ve listened to it. Yes, it’s already living rent-free in our heads.) 🤙🏻

A Long Time Coming
The last time Chord blessed our playlists was way back in 2021 with his EP, Stone Man. That’s right—2021. Which, in pop culture years, feels like approximately 50 years ago. If you’re wondering, the world is still healing from that hiatus.

But with his new single almost here, the healing process is about to speed up. If To Break A Good Man delivers even half the emotional punch we’re expecting, it’s safe to say we’ll be ugly crying by the second verse.

Chord Overstreet is back. Music is back. Life is good. Now, excuse us while we go sign up for that AMA and prepare ourselves emotionally for November 1st.

🎶 TBAGM or bust. 🎶
