Chappell Roan is having a serious main character moment right now.
Our 26-year-old “Good Luck Babe!” pop star has officially taken to the interwebs to remind us all that sheโs been out here, living her best life and collecting bangers, for a whole year now. Yup, itโs the anniversary of The Rise & Fall of a Midwest Princess, and apparently, that Midwest crown is both heavy and sparkly.
“My life? Consider it flipped, turned upside down ๐ซถ,” she wrote, probably while sipping on an overpriced oat milk latte and gazing meaningfully into the distance.
“This year? Buckle up because it’s been like riding a rollercoaster that also happens to be on fire… but in a cool, empowering way! Itโs been beautiful, horrible, sweaty, inspiring, exhausting, and oh-so-transformative. Basically, Iโve been through all the feels. Thank you, thank you, thank you a million times (seriously, stop scrolling and clap for me right now). I am not crying; you are. And thanks to everyone who showed up for this project and basically made me feel like Beyoncรฉ for the past 12 months,” she added, throwing out virtual high-fives.
But hold up, sheโs not done. In classic humble-brag mode, Chappell made sure to remind us that sheโs not doing this solo:
“P.S. This isnโt just me out here sprinkling glitter and good vibes! Thereโs a whole team of sleep-deprived angels working night and day, guzzling coffee, and keeping this ship sailing. Honestly, Iโve never felt so loved ๐,” she signed off, probably while blowing a kiss and strutting away into the sunset.
Xoxo, Chappell.
