Alyssa Milano Issues Statement After Death Of Her Former ‘Charmed’ Co-Star Shannen Doherty

Buy Me A Coffee

In a twist of celestial sitcom irony, Alyssa Milano found herself reminiscing about her days of feuding with Shannen Doherty on the set of *Charmed*. Yes, the on-screen magic might have had more sparks off-screen than a faulty wand.

The 51-year-old Alyssa, upon hearing the news of the 53-year-old *Beverly Hills, 90210* star’s departure to the great soundstage in the sky, shared her thoughts in a statement that could have easily been penned by a rom-com scriptwriter.

“Listen, itโ€™s no Hollywood secret that Shannen and I had a relationship more complicated than a plot twist in a daytime soap,” Alyssa said, probably while dramatically staring out of a window, reminiscing about their magical catfights. “But at the heart of it all, beneath the hexes and curses, was someone I deeply respected and was in awe of. She had talent oozing out of her more than special effects from our TV show.”

“She was a powerhouse actress, loved by many, even when we were throwing more shade than a solar eclipse. The world is definitely less without her fiery spirit. My heartfelt condolences to everyone who adored her, and may her spirit be forever charming.”

Carol Potter, who played Shannen’s TV mom on *Beverly Hills, 90210*, chimed in with her own heartfelt tribute, possibly while flipping through a scrapbook of on-set memories. “I was shocked and saddened by the news of Shannen Dohertyโ€™s passing. What a rollercoaster of a journey she had! Gone too soon, indeed. She remained true to herself through it all, showing us what real courage looks like in the face of such adversity. May she rest in peace, and may her legacy of bravery and perseverance continue to inspire.”

And with that, the curtain falls on another chapter of Hollywood history, leaving us with the reminder that even amidst drama, respect and admiration can still take center stage.
