Sabrina Carpenter just got the best accidental PR stunt of the year, all thanks to a TikTok creator from New York City who stumbled into the pop star like she was a Starbucks in the middle of a caffeine rush.
So here’s the deal: Sabrina, fresh off dropping her latest album Short n Sweet on August 23 (because apparently she’s trying to make “sweet” the new “cool”), was out and about in SoHo. Meanwhile, TikTok star @JudiJupiter was busy doing her thing, which apparently involves filming “really cool people in SoHo” and, intriguingly, “hot girls in Fire Island” – because why limit yourself to one cool neighborhood?
Judi, with all the finesse of a tourist trying to find the Empire State Building, decided to film Sabrina strolling down the street. She starts off asking random passersby if they know who this mysterious girl is. Spoiler alert: no one did. So, Judi eventually takes matters into her own hands and goes straight up to Sabrina and asks, “What’s your name?”
Sabrina, who was clearly having the time of her life with fans and selfies, responded with all the charm of a Disney princess. She told Judi, “I’m obsessed with you, honestly.” So not only did Sabrina’s album get a shoutout, but she also made a new TikTok BFF.
