Yung Miami Opens Up About Her Relationship With Diddy, Talks Abuse Allegations And Their Split

Buy Me A Coffee

Yung Miami has just spilled the tea on her rollercoaster of a relationship with Sean “Diddy” Combs. If you’ve been living under a rock (or maybe just enjoying some peace and quiet), you might have missed that the 30-year-old City Girls rapper and the 54-year-old hip-hop mogul hit a major bump in the road. This wasn’t just any old breakup—it came with a side of lawsuit drama, thanks to accusations from Diddy’s famous ex Cassie and a few other ladies.

In a candid chat with People, Yung Miami compared reliving her Diddy days to riding the emotional equivalent of a rollercoaster designed by someone who’s had too much coffee.

She reminisced about when she first met Diddy, who, according to her, was like a super-charged motivational speaker. “He was all about love, music, and business—basically, if he wasn’t talking to me about becoming a mogul, he was probably working on a new track or throwing a party,” she said. “He saw me as this undiscovered diamond—except instead of mining for gold, he was mining for business opportunities and turning me into a ‘brand.’”

Yung Miami had a bit of a shocker when she stumbled upon a video of Diddy and Cassie having what can only be described as an ‘epic drama showdown.’ “Seeing that was like finding out your favorite restaurant secretly serves food poisoning. I’ve been in toxic relationships before—I know how fun they are, and by fun I mean not at all. I’ve done my time in the ‘not healthy’ zone, and I’m over it,” she confessed.

Now, with two kids and the wisdom of someone who’s seen the back end of a few rollercoasters, Yung Miami is all about self-growth. “I’ve grown from my past. I’m not about to dive back into that mess,” she said. “That’s why I say my time with Diddy wasn’t a total disaster—it’s more like a learning experience that I’m ready to move past.”

As for their split, she’s taken it with the kind of casual shrug you reserve for losing a sock in the laundry. “Sometimes relationships are like old smartphones—sometimes they just need to be put out to pasture. With everything that happened, I just needed some ‘me time.’”

And just in case you missed the latest plot twist, rumor has it that Diddy is now in the hot seat of a federal criminal investigation. So, yeah, things just got even more interesting!
