Guess what, it seems like Beyoncé’s new album has received a prestigious stamp of approval straight from the Vice President’s desk!
After dropping her latest masterpiece “Cowboy Carter” on Friday (March 29), the 42-year-old queen of “Texas Hold ‘Em” got a shoutout from none other than Vice President Kamala Harris. VP Harris, who decided to ditch the old Twitter and go for the mysterious “X” vibe, couldn’t contain her excitement about Beyoncé’s venture into the country realm.
In a tweet that probably broke the internet, VP Harris gushed, “Beyoncé: Thanks for reminding us that our lanes are not defined by others! You’ve basically rewritten the rulebook and brought back the Black roots to country music. Iconic much?”
And she didn’t stop there! The VP went on to say, “Your tunes are like the ultimate fuel for our inspiration tanks. Keep ’em coming, Bey!”
Who knew that mixing country vibes with Beyoncé magic would get a thumbs-up from the second-in-command? We’re all just living in Bey’s world now!
Beyoncé: Thank you for reminding us to never feel confined to other people's perspective of what our lane is. You have redefined a genre and reclaimed country music’s Black roots.
Your music continues to inspire us all.
