Snoop Dogg, the guy who makes everyone from your grandma to your weird uncle bust a move, apparently has some royal connections! And by royal, I mean Buckingham Palace, where he’s got some serious fanfare.
At the ripe old age of 52, Snoop Dogg, the man who made “Drop It Like It’s Hot” a national anthem, is currently in Paris for the 2024 Olympic Games. But before he went all French fancy, he made a pit stop in the UK.
While chilling in the land of tea and crumpets, Snoop spilled the tea himself on Capital FM, where he casually dropped the bomb that Queen Elizabeth was totally down with his rhymes. Yep, turns out the Queen had some serious street cred!
Snoop was all like, “Man, I hope I can waltz into Buckingham Palace while I’m here.” The radio host was like, “Well, Prince William’s a fan,” and Snoop, in his smoothest flow, replied, “The Queen was a fan too! Rest in peace to my homegirl. I’m just out here trying to see if I can still get that royal treatment.”
Turns out, Snoop’s got some major history with the Queen. Apparently, she was his VIP pass when he was banned from the UK in the ’90s. Now that’s what I call royal intervention!
