Seth Green is barging into The Conners like an uninvited cousin at Thanksgiving. The 51-year-old actor, known for his roles in everything from nerdy hacker sidekicks to sassy animated characters, is set to shake things up in the show’s upcoming seventh (and sadly, final) season.
And what’s his role? Oh, just your classic “guy-going-through-a-midlife-crisis” character! Seth will be playing Chad, a dude who’s in the middle of a messy separation and decides the best therapy is oversharing with Darlene (Sara Gilbert) at the Lobo. The two bond over their shared love of sarcasm, poor life decisions, and possibly bar peanuts.
Seth won’t be taking over the whole show, though—he’ll only pop up in half of the final season’s six episodes. That’s right, ABC is only giving us SIX episodes to say goodbye, which is about as satisfying as getting one chicken nugget in a Happy Meal. But hey, we’ll take what we can get.
Mark your calendars, grab your last six beers, and tune in on Wednesday, March 26th at 8 PM ET/PT on ABC to watch Seth Green charm his way into Lanford’s messiest family drama. Oh, and if you just can’t get enough of him, remember he also made a pit stop in That ’90s Show last year—because apparently, Seth Green is on a mission to infiltrate every nostalgic sitcom reboot.
