Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco were spotted doing what all engaged couples do—holding hands, eating food, and probably debating wedding color schemes—while out for dinner in New York City on Tuesday night (March 18).
The soon-to-be Mr. & Mrs. Blanco took their love (and appetite) to 4 Charles Prime Rib, because nothing says “eternal commitment” like devouring steak and potatoes together.
Selena is in NYC filming the fifth season of Only Murders in the Building, where she solves mysteries—one of which may or may not include how many weddings she’s planned in her head this week.
Speaking of weddings, the lovebirds recently spilled some tea about their upcoming nuptials.
“I think every day she’s planned a new wedding in her head,” Benny told Rolling Stone, probably while nervously looking at Pinterest boards multiplying before his eyes. “We’re very much ‘one day at a time’ people. We’re still processing this whole engagement thing. Literally, while you were talking, she was just staring at her ring like it holds the answers to the universe.”
Selena chimed in with, “Also, I genuinely feel like this is such a special time that we get to pour our hearts into this album and bring what we feel to the world.” Translation: The wedding planning stress is real, so let’s channel it into music before I lose my mind over napkin choices.
The couple made things official in 2023 and then leveled up in December 2024 when Benny put a ring on it. Now, in addition to planning a wedding, they’re about to bless the world with their joint album I Said I Love You First, dropping this Friday (March 21).
Selena is filming, planning multiple weddings (simultaneously, in her head), making music, and still finding time for a prime rib dinner. The multitasking queen we all aspire to be.
