Sabrina Carpenter is on a mission, and nothing’s stopping her as she stomps across the land, clutching her shiny new sixth studio album, Short N Sweet, like it’s the last donut at an office party. Dropping on August 23rd, this album is serving up musical magic faster than you can say “chart-topping queen.”
To kick off the festivities, our girl Sabrina marched right up to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and did what she does best: blowing everyone away with a killer performance of her first-ever Billboard Hot 100 #1 banger, ‘Please Please Please.’ (Yes, three pleases, because when you’re Sabrina, one just won’t do!)
Decked out in a dress so dazzling it could probably signal passing ships, she gave us all the drama we needed as she belted out cheeky lyrics while casually leaning on a grand piano. You know, the usual. And, of course, she wasn’t alone. Three background singers in white floated around her like musical angels sent to protect the melody at all costs.
But hold on, that’s not all. During her sit-down with Jimmy, Sabrina spilled the tea on her Billboard domination, as well as the fact that Adele – yes, the Adele – has been giving her props.
