Rebecca Black is officially joining Katy Perry’s Lifetimes Tour! That’s right, the queen of viral bops and the reigning ruler of pop anthems are teaming up to bring you a tour that’s basically the musical equivalent of an all-you-can-eat candy buffet.
Rebecca, now 27 and thriving, got an actual on-stage proposal from Katy over the weekend. No, not a romantic one (we see you, Orlando Bloom 👀), but an invitation to join the tour. And obviously, Rebecca said yes—because who turns down an offer from a woman who once dressed up as a hamburger at the Met Gala?
The Proposal Heard ‘Round the Internet
Katy popped out like a pop queen jack-in-the-box at Rebecca’s LA show and together, they performed the timeless masterpiece that is Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)—aka the song that gave Rebecca Black a cameo of a lifetime in the 2011 music video. And just like that, Rebecca Black Fridays are officially back in business!
Katy took to Instagram with an adorable message:
💬 “About to spend a lot more Fridays with @msrebeccablack 🫦🧡 WELCOME TO THE LIFETIMES TOUR BABES ♾️”
Rebecca, clearly still processing the absolute fever dream she’s living in, responded with:
💬 “secrets out…🩵 @katyperry i can’t wait to join you on THE LIFETIMES TOUR!!!!”
Where Will Rebecca Black Make Your Fridays Fabulous?
Before you start booking flights to Timbuktu, let’s clarify—Rebecca is only joining the North American leg of the tour for now. So if you’re in Europe, Asia, or Australia… sorry, but you might have to wait until Katy pulls another surprise move.
