Nicholas Galitzine is trading in his mortal muscles for superhuman ones as he prepares to become the Master of the Universe himself. Yes, the 30-year-old actor is about to go full “I have the power!” as He-Man in Amazon MGMโs live-action extravaganza, directed by none other than Travis Knight.
Naturally, becoming Eternia’s beefiest defender requires a little more than a protein shake and a couple of push-ups. In the ultimate power move, Nicholas dropped a photo on social media recently that screamed, “Look out, world, Iโm bench-pressing meteors now.” But what exactly does “He-Man training” involve? Spoiler: Itโs a lot of heavy lifting and maybe some primal roaring.
โIโve been lifting all the heavy things in the world to get into He-Man shape,โ Nicholas told Vogue. Thatโs rightโif itโs big, bulky, and borderline immovable, Nicholas has probably tried to lift it. Boulders, cars, your emotional baggageโheโs out here conquering it all. He even admitted heโs been laying low since September, probably because heโs too busy arm-wrestling gorillas or curling skyscrapers.
Oh, and He-Man wonโt be battling Eterniaโs evildoers alone. Another beloved actor has been cast as one of the iconic villains. Details are hush-hush for now, but weโre guessing itโs someone equally ready to square up with Nicholas and his soon-to-be superhero quads.
For the uninitiated, Masters of the Universe centers on Prince Adam, a guy with a Power Sword thatโs basically the Swiss Army knife of weapons. With it, he transforms into He-Man, Eterniaโs biggest, baddest hero, who spends his days saving his home planet and guarding Castle Grayskull. You know, just your average day job.
The film is slated to hit theaters on June 5, 2026, giving Nicholas plenty of time to perfect his He-Man scowl and figure out how to flex without ripping his costume. Until then, weโll be eagerly waiting for more updatesโand maybe a few more Instagram shots of him flipping over a tank or arm-curling a dragon.
