New Trailer For Marvel’s ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ Debuts At D23 Brazil

Buy Me A Coffee

Marvel just dropped an exciting new sneak peek of Captain America: Brave New World, and let me tell you, they did it in true Marvel style: big, bold, and Brazilian. Yep, on Saturday, Anthony Mackie and Danny Ramirez popped over to D23 Brazil, where they gifted the crowd with a brand-new trailer that probably sent Cap’s biggest fans into the kind of frenzy that only a giant tub of popcorn could calm down.

So, here’s the deal: Sam Wilson (a.k.a. our new Cap, played by the always-smooth Anthony Mackie) is just trying to catch a breather as the new Captain America when—surprise!—he gets summoned for a little heart-to-heart with the freshly elected U.S. President Thaddeus Ross, who just so happens to be played by none other than Harrison Ford. Yes, you heard that right. Indiana Jones has put down the bullwhip and picked up the presidency, and we can only hope he’s not taking political advice from Han Solo.

But of course, this isn’t just a “hey, let’s grab coffee and talk about democracy” kind of meeting. No, Ross has some serious news for Cap: There’s a global crisis afoot, and if someone doesn’t put a stop to it, the entire world is going to “see red” (which hopefully just means “angry” and not some sneaky Red Skull reboot). So Sam is off to save the world—again!

The movie’s directed by Julius Onah, who’s made it his mission to make this Captain America installment as action-packed as possible. Joining Mackie on this wild ride are some serious powerhouses: Shira Haas, Xosha Roquemore, Carl Lumbly, Giancarlo Esposito, Liv Tyler, and Tim Blake Nelson. With a cast this star-studded, the only thing missing is a DJ in the background going “Pew! Pew!” every time someone throws a punch.

And here’s the cherry on top: Captain America: Brave New World is scheduled to blast into theaters on February 14, 2025. Yep, Valentine’s Day. So, if you’re not feeling the romance, there’s always heroics, high-speed chases, and possibly some new shield-throwing moves to steal your heart.
