Cue dramatic legal music—because the Suits universe is expanding, and everyone is wondering: will Meghan Markle make a triumphant return as Rachel Zane, legal genius and professional blazer enthusiast?
The hit legal drama wrapped up five years ago, and now it’s getting a new spinoff, Suits LA, premiering on February 23. The only familiar face leading the charge? Stephen Amell—because when you think Suits, you obviously think Arrow.
Now, creator Aaron Korsh was recently asked the million-dollar question: Could Meghan Markle—former Suits star, current Duchess of Sussex, and permanent tabloid obsession—make a comeback? His answer? Basically, “Yeah, she *could*… but also, let’s calm down.”
Korsh revealed that the team has tossed around ideas for original cast members to return. In fact, at one point, they even entertained the idea of actors playing themselves in the show. (Suits meets Curb Your Enthusiasm? Intriguing.)
However, Korsh admitted that this concept gave him a bit of a “brain meltdown,” adding, “I think it blows up the world too much.” (Somewhere, Christopher Nolan is nodding in agreement.)
But when it comes to Meghan Markle, the door is definitely open. Korsh made it clear: “Obviously, if Meghan wants to come back under any circumstances, Meghan can come back.”
But then he quickly reeled it in, acknowledging that realistically, her return would shatter the fourth wall like a rogue wrecking ball. So, for now, Suits LA will remain a Meghan-free zone… unless she surprises us all and pulls off the biggest legal comeback since Elle Woods.
