Margaret Qualley just proved that not only can she act, but she can also twirl, kick, and shimmy her way into our hearts!
The 30-year-old actress from The Substance turned the 2025 Academy Awards into her own personal dance floor on Sunday (March 2) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, and honestly? James Bond himself would’ve been impressed.
Wearing a silky red dress that screamed “mysterious femme fatale with killer footwork,” Margaret took the stage alongside a squad of sharply dressed men in black suits. The reason? A James Bond tribute, obviously. And in case you weren’t aware, Margaret isn’t just randomly busting moves—she’s a trained dancer. She studied ballet at the North Carolina School of the Arts and the Professional Children’s School in New York before deciding, “Eh, why not become a famous actress too?”
The Oscars are being hosted by none other than comedy legend Conan O’Brien, who is stepping up to the plate for the first time (expect chaos and hair jokes). The show is airing live on ABC and Hulu, so if you missed Margaret’s moment of dance domination, there’s still time to pretend you saw it and act cool about it.
Oh, and in the movie battle royale? Emilia Perez is leading the charge with 13 nominations, followed by The Brutalist and Wicked with 10 each.
