Lana Del Rey is out here living her best messy country fairytale and we’re just lucky to witness it.
The 39-year-old queen of Sad Girl Anthems and Mystical Americana pulled up to the 2025 Stagecoach Festival on Friday night (April 25) and said, “Y’know what? I’m gonna cause a little bit of drama.” And oh boy, did she.
Highlights include:
– Singing about swapping spit with country bad boy Morgan Wallen 🍻
– Debuting three new songs that sound like they were written on the back of a Waffle House napkin (in the BEST way) 📝
– Performing in front of a literal cabin with a rope swing like she’s the final boss of a Nicholas Sparks movie 📚💔
New Song Rollout: Major Vibes Only
Lana whipped out some brand-new tracks for us, like:
– “Husband of Mine” (aka: “I love you but also I’m plotting your funeral, babe”)
– “Quiet in the South” (where she croons softly, possibly while petting a goat)
– “57.5”, where she flexed on the entire festival crowd by belting out:
“I got 57.5 million listeners on Spotify.”
Casual. No big deal. Just another day as the queen of streaming sadness.
AND THEN — SHE DROPPED A BOMB:
In the middle of “57.5,” Lana just casually *announced*:
“I kissed Morgan Wallen…”
Cue: the entire audience ascending into yeehaw heaven.
But wait, there’s more! She then added:
“I guess kissing me kind of went to his head / If you want my secret to success, don’t go ATVing with him when you’re out west.”
🚨 New Rule: NEVER go off-roading with Lana Del Rey unless you’re ready to write a breakup album about it.
Lana Also Served LOOKS
Because obviously.
She rocked:
– A custom white Valentino dress that screamed “ethereal ghost bride at a hoedown” 👰🏻♀️✨
– A custom red roses dress by Venezuelan designer Sugar Ferrini, proving once again that Lana can and WILL outdress your entire family reunion 💃🌹
Stagecoach Setlist: AKA, a full emotional rollercoaster 🎢
– “Husband of Mine”
– “Henry, Come On”
– “Stand By Your Man” (Tammy Wynette cover, because she’s a professional)
– “Cowboy Songs”
– “Ride”
– “Video Games”
– “Norman F–king Rockwell”
– “Arcadia”
– “Let the Light In”
– “Quiet in the South”
– “Bluebird”
– “Summertime Sadness” (mandatory)
– “57.5”
– “Take Me Home, Country Roads” (John Denver cover, and YES everyone sang along or they’re legally banned from Stagecoach)
BTW: If you’re feeling massive FOMO, you can still catch Stagecoach live on Amazon Music this weekend! 📲🎤
Moral of the story:
Lana Del Rey kissed Morgan Wallen, sang about it in a white designer dress, and now she owns Stagecoach, country music, and all our hearts. 🤠❤️🌵
