Lady Gaga didn’t just host Saturday Night Live—she hijacked it, sprinkled it with glitter, and set it on fire (metaphorically, of course).
The 38-year-old superstar is fresh off the release of her new album Mayhem (which is either an artistic masterpiece or a soundtrack for a bank heist—jury’s still out) and decided to double down by pulling triple duty on SNL as host, musical guest, and chief chaos coordinator.
During her opening monologue, Gaga wasted no time dragging her latest cinematic adventure, Joker: Folie à Deux. Yes, the film that had everyone asking, “Wait, so it’s a musical now?”
She proudly acknowledged the movie’s groundbreaking achievement—winning Worst Screen Combo at the 2025 Razzies. And while some actors might take that as a devastating career blow, Gaga? Oh no, she’s thriving.
“Joke’s on them. I love winning things,” she declared, her trophy-hoarding heart undeterred. But the real kicker? She’s not just gunning for an EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony). No, no, Gaga is now aiming for the EGORT—an EGOT, but with a Razzie sprinkled in for extra humiliation.
“It’s like an EGOT, but it’s hurtful,” she quipped, proving once again that self-deprecation is the highest form of comedy.
And before closing out her monologue, she made one final, dramatic vow to the audience:
“I promise to act, to sing, and to not do Joker 3.”
Somewhere in Hollywood, Warner Bros. executives just spat out their lattes.
Stay tuned for the full monologue once it drops online—and any other unhinged Gaga moments that are bound to happen.
