Kylie Kelce loves her husband, retired NFL center Jason Kelce, but when it comes to emergency situations, she’s got someone else on speed dial—and no, it’s not Travis Kelce or Taylor Swift (tragic, we know).
In a jaw-dropping, totally scandalous revelation that will shake the foundations of their marriage (or, you know, just mildly amuse us), Kylie spilled the tea on her podcast Not Gonna Lie. Turns out, Jason’s not her emergency contact. Gasp!
But before you assume she’s planning an escape route, she’s got a very practical reason.
“My husband is not my emergency contact. I know, earth-shattering,” Kylie, 32, said, probably while sipping coffee and rolling her eyes at the inevitable headlines. “My mom is my emergency contact. And no, it’s not because she’s more fun at parties.”
So why exactly did Jason get benched from this crucial role?
Simple: The man does not answer his phone. Like, ever.
“He gets so many random calls. It’s insane. He won’t pick up unless it’s a number he knows—and even then, it’s like playing emotional roulette,” she explained.
And let’s be real, Jason has the kind of phone screening skills that make the CIA jealous. So instead of wasting time calling him in a life-or-death scenario, Kylie has her mom, the great and powerful Lil Lise, on deck.
“If Lil Lise calls Jason, he’s answering. No hesitation. No screening. That’s the power of mom energy,” Kylie said.
But don’t get it twisted—she still has some faith in Jason.
“If I truly thought he’d answer, I’d have him as my emergency contact. I do trust my husband to handle things. I just also trust that he will absolutely ignore a random call in the middle of the day.”
And honestly? Fair. If we were Jason Kelce, we’d probably ignore most calls too—unless, of course, it was a teammate offering free cheesesteaks.
Kylie has seen your comments on Jason and the “emergency contact” trend. 😂
