That’s right—Mr. Krabs’ closely-guarded formula is still a secret, but apparently, anyone with an apron and a wild imagination can give it a shot!
Welcome to the Krabby Patty Kollab! It’s like your taste buds just won the lottery, but instead of money, you get a buffet of Krabby Patty-inspired dishes. We’re talking everything from Krabby dumplings to Krabby doughnuts, and yes, even Krabby ice cream—because clearly, Bikini Bottom has never heard of cholesterol.
According to Sherry Liu, Senior Vice President of “I’m In Charge Of All The Fun Stuff” at Nickelodeon and Paramount, SpongeBob first flipped these bad boys 25 years ago. And now, to celebrate, we’re all invited to munch on our version of his culinary masterpiece. “Though the formula remains a secret,” she said, “SpongeBob fans can now savor an artistic interpretation of the Krabby Patty.” Which basically means chefs will be winging it—but hey, if a sponge in square pants can master the grill, how hard can it be?
The culinary chaos begins Tuesday, October 8, with Krabby-inspired creations landing in over 250 restaurants across the globe. And when we say global, we mean it! We’re talking New York, London, Toronto, Mexico City, and everywhere in between. It’s practically an international SpongeBob scavenger hunt for your taste buds.
