Way back in the ancient times of April, the 65-year-old Footloose legend and his daughter, Sosie Bacon, decided to channel their inner pop stars. The dynamic duo put their own spin on Beyoncé’s new duet “II Most Wanted” with Miley Cyrus, making it Bacon-flavored with some personalized lyrics.
Fast forward to June 20, Kevin was strutting down the red carpet at the premiere of his latest flick, Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, when he dropped a bombshell. No, not a literal one, don’t worry. He revealed that Beyoncé herself sent him a special gift after catching wind of his cover.
“Here’s the really cool thing,” Kevin told Entertainment Tonight, looking like a kid who just found out his birthday cake was all ice cream. “I actually got a T-shirt from Beyoncé.”
He then added with the kind of humility you’d expect from someone who once danced through a warehouse in ’80s attire, “Apparently, it was from her. I don’t know, what can I say.”
But wait, there’s more! Kevin didn’t just stop at flaunting his Bey-blessed wardrobe. He showered Beyoncé’s new album, Cowboy Carter, with compliments. “I love the record so much,” he gushed, proving that even the star of Tremors isn’t immune to the power of Queen Bey’s music.
