Josh Andres Rivera is finally spilling the beans on his relationship with Rachel Zegler, and it’s more thrilling than a popcorn-fueled movie marathon!
In case you missed the blockbuster newsflash, Josh, 29, and Rachel, 23, initially met on the set of Steven Spielberg’s remake of West Side Story and decided to make their own romantic sequel starting in 2021. They then teamed up again for The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes—because apparently, once you’ve tangoed through a Spielberg epic, you can’t get enough of the same co-star!
Now, as he’s out and about promoting his new FX series American Sports Story: Aaron Hernandez, Josh is giving us the scoop on Hollywood life with Rachel by his side. Spoiler alert: It’s not all red carpets and glamorous galas.
Josh told Men’s Health that navigating fame with his lady love is like having a GPS that actually works. “We get each other, which is super cool,” he confessed. “It’s like having a partner in crime who gets all your inside jokes and understands your ‘I’m-too-famous-for-this’ moments. It’s like a support group, but with more glitz and glam.”
In American Sports Story, Josh takes on the role of Aaron Hernandez, the former New England Patriots tight end who had a career more dramatic than a soap opera, featuring murder, acquittal, and a tragic end in his jail cell in 2017.
Mark your calendars for September 17th, because that’s when American Sports Story: Aaron Hernandez hits FX and streams on Hulu. It’s about to be a wild ride, and not just because of Josh and Rachel’s off-screen shenanigans!
