JoJo took a break from bedazzling everything in sight to hop on social media this past Saturday (June 29) and spill the beans about her latest musical masterpiece. Not only did she reveal when we can bop along to the new song and its music video, but she also dropped the mic with news of her upcoming debut EP. Brace yourselves for the sparkle storm, people!
Apparently, inspiration struck JoJo like a bedazzled lightning bolt during her 21st birthday. She decided to take the construction worker chic look from her epic birthday bash and turn it into a musical vibe. Because, let’s be real, who doesn’t love a good high-vis vest paired with some killer tunes? 🦺
In her own words (with a sprinkle of JoJo sass), she teased on Instagram: “When I got an idea and made the call a few weeks ago to change my next music release after KARMA one of the first things I decided was to take the construction fit from my 21st birthday and make it a part of it… it made sense because this fit got added to the list of peoples guilty pleasures:) first photo says it all🦺.”
But wait, there’s more! In true JoJo fashion, she didn’t just drop one bombshell; she dropped a whole glitter bomb. She announced, in ALL CAPS, naturally: “GET THE F*** READY. GUILTY PLEASURE (Song & Official Music Video) COMING IN 13 DAYS.” As if that wasn’t enough to make us explode with excitement, she added, “Thats not it… There’s actually 5 SONGS COMING YOUR WAY IN 13 DAYS.” Five songs? Someone pinch me, I must be dreaming!
Mark your calendars and start stockpiling glitter because “GUILTY PLEASURE” – JoJo’s debut EP – is coming to a streaming service near you on July 12th.
