Appearing on Live With Kelly & Mark, JLo dished about her prep for the role and teased her upcoming summer tour.
“I just wrapped up Kiss of the Spider Woman, where it was all singing and dancing. Let me tell you, it was like doing a marathon while wearing stilettos made of feathers,” she joked. “But hey, now I’m ready to rumble. I’m lean, mean, and ready to hit the scene.”
Kiss of the Spider Woman, based on Manuel Puig’s wild novel from ’76, tells the tale of two jailbirds who bond over Hollywood dreams. Picture this: a gay window dresser, locked up for a bit of trouble, spinning yarns to a revolutionary cellmate. And guess what? They’re both head over heels for a fictional movie diva.
