Jenna Ortega and Sabrina Carpenter just rolled up to the Met Gala 2025 after-parties looking like the fashion-forward duo we never knew we needed but now desperately crave.
Fresh from the Met Gala—where the theme was “Tailored for You,” aka “How Many Ways Can We Make a Suit Sexy?”—Jenna (a.k.a. the reigning queen of the Deadpan Stare Olympics) and Sabrina (our resident glitter-drenched pop princess) decided to extend the night by hitting up A\$AP Rocky’s after-party. Because obviously, nothing says high fashion like turning up in couture and then dancing your perfectly tailored pants off to trap remixes of Beethoven.
Spotted on the mean streets of NYC around 3 a.m. (when all fashion icons morph into cryptids), the two looked like they just walked off the runway and straight into a Vogue fever dream. Jenna gave us chic goth fairy meets CEO, and Sabrina? Imagine a sparkly disco ball had a baby with a power suit—and that baby sings Espresso.
This year’s Met was all about menswear and tailoring, but make it ✨fabulous.✨ The event celebrated the opening of the Costume Institute’s new exhibit, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style”—inspired by Monica L. Miller’s book Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity. In short: high culture, high fashion, and high stakes if you didn’t serve a LEWK.
And Jenna and Sabrina? They understood the assignment, turned it in early, and probably got extra credit for looking like they were starring in a buddy comedy titled Tailored & Thriving.
Moral of the story? If you’re not leaving a Met Gala after-party arm-in-arm with your bestie, covered in glitter, and looking like a fashion-forward Powerpuff Girl, you’re doing it wrong.
