This incident happened amid the bustling production of his latest movie, “The Smashing Machine,” where he’s smashing it up once again with Emily Blunt. Yes, the dynamic duo from “Jungle Cruise” is back, and apparently, so is The Rock’s tendency to get hilariously injured.
In a classic Dwayne-style Instagram video, he put his banged-up elbow on full display. “Check out this bad boy,” he said, pointing to his elbow which, at this point, looked like it swallowed a small fruit. “It’s like I’ve got a cantaloupe stuck down there. We had some intense scenes today, and I might have a bit of soft tissue damage. That’s a lot of fluid in there, people. Before we get any fancy MRIs, I need to deflate this melon first.”
But the plot thickens! The Rock also shared some wisdom from his late father, who had a knack for tough-love advice. “He used to say, ‘A day without pain is like a day without sunshine, boy.’ And let me tell you, I’m practically living on the sun right now. I’ve been banged up, beaten down, and I’ve had more injuries than a clumsy ninja. So if any of you out there are experts in anti-inflammatories, or maybe you’ve got some secret grandma remedies, hit me up. Your boy could use a little relief!”
