The 32-year-old pop sensation and her beau, George Daniel of The 1975, were spotted on a lunch date in Los Feliz, California, on Saturday (August 10). The couple was practically performing their own romantic comedy as they packed on the PDA, making the rest of us look like amateur romantics.
Charli and George, who’s 34 but still youthful in spirit, were caught in a moment that could have been straight out of a soap opera. During their meal, George decided to take the role of a human charades game, leaning in and pressing his finger to Charli’s lips in a move that can only be described as “adorably theatrical,” according to E! News photos.
After their star-studded lunch, Charli clung to George’s arm like a human koala as they strolled around town, making it look like they were auditioning for a couple’s reality show.
For those who missed the gossip train: Charli and George’s love story began in 2021 when they joined forces on some epic tunes. They made their relationship Instagram-official in May 2022, and the big engagement reveal came in November 2023. So basically, they’ve been making music and hearts flutter ever since.
