So, here’s how it all went down: Billboard posts on their Instagram like, “Big News! Chappell Roan’s got Grammy nominations in all of the Big Four categories. But weirdly, she got left out of a ‘Congrats’ post from her now-‘former’ management team, State of the Art. Suspicious much?” Billboard did the virtual equivalent of whispering, “Something’s up, and we’re just here to ask questions 👀.”
But Chappell wasn’t having it! She hops right into the comments with a simple (but scathing) “Y’all suck for this.” No frills, no extra words – just straight-up internet shade, Chappell-style.
