Step aside, Hollywood – Jeremy Allen White is strutting into New Jersey with a leather jacket, a plaid shirt, and a whole lot of Springsteen swagger. The 33-year-old Emmy-winning The Bear actor is in the thick of filming for Deliver Me From Nowhere, a Bruce Springsteen biopic that’s got fans buzzing and maybe even howling (from excitement, we hope). Spotted on set outside a theater in Rahway, New Jersey, Jeremy looked ready to either deliver an Oscar-winning performance or start a cover band at the local dive bar.
And as if things couldn’t get cooler, the legend himself, Mr. Born to Run, Mr. Thunder Road, Bruce Springsteen, decided to show up! That’s right—Bruce, at a vibrant 75, graced the set to sign autographs, shake hands, and essentially bless everyone with his New Jersey greatness. He even paused for a bro-hug with Jeremy in between scenes, probably saying something like, “You better make me look good, kid” or maybe just “Nice jacket, but don’t scratch it.”
Director Scott Cooper was also there, helping Jeremy get into full Boss-mode (imagine pep talks about nailing that perfect gravelly tone). Cooper, who’s writing and directing the film, is determined to bring Bruce’s 1982 Nebraska album to the big screen, and judging by all the action, he’s pulling out all the stops. The film, based on Warren Zanes’ book about the making of Nebraska, promises to dig deep into Bruce’s introspective side—lots of brooding, plenty of heart, and probably a few scenes with Jeremy staring moodily into the distance, wondering why he can’t catch a break in the rough streets of…uh, Rahway.
Mark your calendars, Springsteen superfans and leather-jacket lovers alike: Deliver Me From Nowhere hits theaters in 2025. It’s looking like this one might just rock you… like a boss! 🎸
